PROJECT:
DESIGN KEYNOTE & PRODUCE AN IDENTITY THAT IS IN LINE WITH THE MOMA NY BRAND
ASK:
We were approached by MOMA NY to design a keynote for the biggest motion design awards of the year — AICP Awards.
brief
concept
No video was arbitrarily pulled to synth with our artwork and no artwork was created without a color theory in mind.
Each Awards show received its own unique spin with specific selection of color and texture to go with its individual story.
AICP: the journey of an art director to work
AICP NEXT: the history of advertisitng
AICP POST: MOCUMENTARY OF A CAR AD
As this years event marked a return and the first time that all three events are in one night we pushed to create a bold, bright vibe. Three palettes that were colorful and different enough to allow each show to own its individual identity, but cohesive enough to represent the event as whole.
A Graphic Design structure was created to hold the unique textures. The formats were built in a way where they can keep content orderly but still feel fluid and seamlessly allow movement.
An additional human touch was incorporated with various layouts to include torn pieces of texture.

the Grammy award-winning musical artist Usher, launches his limited edition 1738 bottle with Rémy Martin.

The artist used his own musical vocabulary to describe the taste of Cognac to the A.I. technology. Usher’s avant-garde depiction of tasting notes is fed to several AI engines to produce one final result, seen on the limited 1738 Remi Martin Cognac turned into artwork made by me, making the invisible, visible.

ROLE:
brief
In summer 2022, NBC has approached us with a task to design a way to spin off the live action footage of NBC NASCAR race during the Playoffs season.
process
The process consisted of a few major parts:
design
-exploration of style frames
-color palette
-looks of the elements
-toolkit
-branding
animation
-cell animation
-rotoscope
-color grading
-post production
design
We have designed four looks: fire, smoke, lighting strokes and speed lines. each are used to extend the already existing environment and bring a new, exaggerated ands almost heroic moment to the existing footage.
roto scope
The live footage was rotoscoped — meaning that each element was tracked by a special effect and it allowed us to overlay 2D animations with the camera movements fast.
animation
In the final stage of the project, design, rotoscope and cell animation came together to produce the final result.
in the post production, we added additional textures and color correction.
style frames
we had to experiment with the variety of styles before settling down for the one.
Here are some snippets of our early design work showcasing .

rebelde
Netflix Originals releases a new series that evokes nostalgia of all the kids growing up on “rebelde” — spanish version of high school musical.
of course, part of brand is music. so we were asked to create a music video for the show.
brief
inspo
When looking for inspiration,we’ve settled on distinct style of illustrator Benjy Brooke, and the fascination with the adult-swim characters.
characters
we made sure to capture the way clothes, physical features and manuerism were representing the characters in the show and applied it in the video.
explorations
We had multiple variations of Dixon and MJ before we have settled on something we like.

(brutal)
brief
(BRUTAL) is a concept for Nano Zinc Sunscreen - the ultimate defense against the sun's harsh rays. We cultivated an identity centered around strength, power, and relentless protection.
With an emphasis on minimalistic packaging design and a bold, striking logo, we position Nano Zinc Sunscreen as the go-to choice for those seeking a brutal and unwavering shield against the sun.
